MARGHERITA SUNSET POINTS — Attraction in Assam

It's really a scenic sunset spot but the local authority performed very poorly to keep this location presentable to the visitors. The road to this spot is very narrow and filthy. The location administration has also done any thing to spread awareness regarding non-dumping of waste or prohibiting the visitors regarding disposal of waste. The spot has potential to be developed as a morning/evening jogging, strolling and walking point which can also boost the local economy with business opportunities for local vendor. If no intervention or initiative is initiated the spot will soon convert into filth yard and spot for alcoholic and punter, which is absolutely not good for society nearby.

A sincere advice to the visitors, please don't pollute this place and it's roads with your garbage. Dispose your garbage at its designated places either near or take it back where you are coming from. Please try to contribute for the beauty of this place, at least by your behaviour and actions. A humble request to the locals, please correct and prohibit the visitors from throwing garbage here and there, if a person has inner conscience will definitely listen to you.
