On 19th July 2025, I visited Jagiroad Nijora Park with my family. While purchasing tickets at the counter, I noticed that the person issuing the tickets spoke in a very rude and aggressive manner. Despite this, I chose not to react and proceeded inside the park.
As we entered, the behavior of the ticket checker was equally shocking and unprofessional — he acted more like an animal than a responsible staff member.
Inside the park, my 4-year-old son slipped near the water area while walking and fell down. My wife, seeing our child soaked and muddy, began changing his clothes nearby. At that moment, another staff member came over and very rudely told her, “You can’t stay here — go outside!”
Following his instructions, my wife left the area with our son. When I didn’t see them return, I went to check and saw my wife being confronted at the gate by a young man (apparently a park staff member). As I approached and asked what happened, the young man suddenly shouted “Stay quiet!” and aggressively got up from his seat, rushing toward me as if to assault me.
Another staff member who was present there supported the rude individual and both began misbehaving with me and my wife, using offensive language and acting in a threatening manner.
We remained calm and tried to de-escalate the situation to avoid further chaos, but the entire incident left us extremely disturbed.
This is the true face of the staff working at Jagiroad Nijora Park — treating visitors like animals and creating a hostile, unfriendly environment. It was, overall, a very...
Read moreOne of the best parks for family recreation (suitable for both children and adults) in low cost, with a beautiful spring waterfall, beautifull decoration of artificiality with natural ones and a hillside Shiva temple inside the campus is the Nijora Park in Jagiroad, Morigaon, Assam (India). However, quality restaurant and food is a demand of time. The roads connecting to and from national highway (3/4 km) to and from the destination may be made more convenient with more indicating signboards and security signs. The park exhibits mostly Tiwa tribal culture of middle Assam, and has a good scope of expansion of the park area in future. Need minimum 3/4 hours to complete and enjoy everything in serenity, quiet and peaceful except the commotion of down water rolling over the hill stones. Has a big parking area and a picnic...
