Visited Sendh Lake recently and honestly, it’s a peaceful place if you just want to chill and spend some calm time away from the city noise. The lake area is quite open and surrounded by greenery which gives a relaxing vibe especially during the evening. You can sit by the water, watch the sunset and just enjoy the breeze. The place isn’t too crowded on weekdays but weekends get a little busy with families and groups hanging around. I have been coming to this wetland since 1995 to do bird watching and wetland bird census of winter migratory species. It was completely village wetland that time with no traffic around. But now it is part of Naya Raipur and is a important landmark and one of the most visiting places with family and friends to enjoy nature especially sunset and sunrise.
