Visiting ISKCON Bhopal’s main temple is a truly divine and refreshing experience. The moment you enter the temple premises, you feel a sense of peace and calmness that instantly uplifts your mood. The architecture of the temple is beautiful, with well-crafted designs that reflect the spiritual essence of ISKCON worldwide. The temple structure with intricate carvings and colorful paintings of Lord Krishna’s pastimes makes the temple look both grand and serene.
Inside the sanctum, the idols of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna and other deities are decorated magnificently with flowers, ornaments, and vibrant attire. The aarti and bhajans here are mesmerizing – the sound of kirtans, mridangas, and devotees chanting "Hare Krishna Mahamantra" create an atmosphere filled with devotion and positivity. Attending the evening aarti is especially recommended, as the entire temple glows beautifully with lights and the energy of devotees singing together feels divine.
The temple complex is spacious and very well-maintained. Cleanliness is given great importance here, which adds to the peaceful environment. The gardens and pathways around the temple are soothing for a stroll, especially in the evening. There is also a small Govinda’s restaurant/prasadam hall where you can relish sattvik (pure vegetarian) food, snacks, and prasadam prepared by the temple devotees. The taste is homely, healthy, and fulfilling.
The temple also organizes spiritual discourses, Gita classes, festivals like Janmashtami, Holi, and Ratha Yatra with great enthusiasm, attracting thousands of devotees from across the city and beyond. On special occasions, the entire temple is decorated with lights, flowers, and rangolis, making it look divine and vibrant.
Parking is available, and the temple staff and devotees are very humble and helpful. Whether you are seeking peace of mind, spiritual connection, or simply a break from the city’s hustle, ISKCON Bhopal is a perfect place to spend time in meditation, prayer, and positive company.

It was such an amazing experience, that too on the very first day of the new year. I made a list of places to visit and I am glad that I decided to go to iskon temple for my first place.
The place is easily accessible near Oriental College and on the road to NRI college of engineering . As you enter the road you can find this lovely temple on your left hand side.
I went there on Sunday because i got to know that on Sundays there is an aarti over there and indeed it was a very good decision of mine .
When I entered the place it was quite crowded, there was sufficient parking space so you can park your vehicle easily. There were racks for shoes and water was also available for washing your feet. On the gate itself there was parshad in the form of delicious kheer.
After entering the temple you can have a book store where you can find many books ,calendars etc. There was also a shop in which you can get some religious stuffs. Turning to the left you will get the main temple where the aarti was happening.
It was a very nice place even after so much of enchantment , you will not like to go away from there . On the back side there is washroom and drinking water. There was a small garden also . Overall it is a place to go especially...
