The place is beautiful, however it faces the heat of utter negligence by authorities.

Reaching there: You are not allowed to take own vehicles be it two wheeler or four wheelers. You will have to hop on E-rickshaws are there which charge 100 rupees per passenger for up - down journey. The journey is somewhere around 6 kms through forest.

After reaching: The lake is quite small, few ducks are there. Now, compared to number of visitors, the boats are very few and you will have to wait around 2 hours in normal scenarios to get a boat. The boating service has been outsourced and villager type quite ill mannered people take a hold of operations instead of a proper planned team.

The tourists throw plastics, wrappers, bottles in water which makes it quite distasteful, considering there aren't authorities present to enforce proper law.

Some snacks, water and other shops are there.

Overall, visiting it feels like "more...

Ghora katora is a place at rajgir. The way we went was from near rajgir shanti sthoop area. Once can catch a toto ( 4 ppl) for 100 rs/seat. From the starring point its nearly 6 km to reach tbe destination. Once after passing half km, there is a security gate where you have to yake a token of 10rs. Another 5 km of journey will be through a unpaved, muddy road through woods. The spot is very nice and beautiful. Unfortunately I went on February, where the surroundings were dry and no greenary was there. You can do pedel boating here, the ticket rate was 60rs per person. There were a lot of people waiting for boating, where it feels like there were no other tourist place in bihar. So anyone who plans to visit here can avoid weekends. Personally, the view would be nice after rainy season, where you might see greenery. And the sunset time would be best of you avoid to do boating in lake. ๐Ÿ‘
