No words for the location. Its absolutely beautiful and divine. The only con about the place is the money hungry pandas and pandits. They shamelessly ask for donation announcing with loudspeakers 100 rupae se upar chadha k ashirwad lijiye..and some of them insult you if you donate lesser amount. overall this place is a must visit for its significance in the pind daan pooja and for its scenic beauty. It has some 6-700 stairs . Paalki workers are there to take you to top charging some 12-1500 rupees. But you can reach the top by foot after regular breaks. Its not at all very high..so don't fall for the palki guys telling you that its very difficult to get to the top by foot. Also if you're carrying the naariyal of pitr please come to the top and drop it the kund . The pandit you take during the process doesnt come to the top and asks you to drop the nariyal at the footstep of the pretshila so that they don't go to the top . Do it by urself. Magical...

प्रेतशिला मंदिर एक धार्मिक और ऐतिहासिक स्थल है, जहां श्रद्धालु पितृ तर्पण और पूजा के लिए आते हैं। लेकिन यहां आने के बाद जो अनुभव हुआ, वह काफी निराशाजनक रहा।

मंदिर के पंडित और कुछ अन्य लोग पूजा के नाम पर सिर्फ पैसों की कमाई में लगे रहते हैं। जैसे ही आप मंदिर परिसर में प्रवेश करते हैं, कुछ लोग आपको घेर लेते हैं और पूजा करवाने के लिए दबाव डालते हैं। "ये करवाना जरूरी है", "वो नहीं करवाया तो दोष लगेगा" जैसे डराने वाले शब्दों से श्रद्धालुओं को मानसिक रूप से मजबूर किया जाता है। एक पूजा शुरू नहीं होती कि दूसरी करवाने की सिफारिश शुरू हो जाती है, और हर बात में पैसे की मांग होती है।

सबसे निराशाजनक बात यह है कि मंदिर परिसर की साफ-सफाई पर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया जाता। पूजा स्थान गंदगी से भरा रहता है, और कहीं-कहीं तो कचरे के ढेर भी दिखाई देते हैं। ऐसे पवित्र स्थल पर इतनी लापरवाही देखना दुखद है। वहां के कई पंडित और व्यवस्थापक सिर्फ पैसा कमाने में रुचि रखते हैं, श्रद्धा और आस्था का कोई मोल नहीं समझते।

कुछ सच्चे और ईमानदार लोग जरूर होंगे वहां, लेकिन उनकी गिनती बहुत कम है। कुल मिलाकर, यह अनुभव काफी खराब रहा। अगर प्रशासन यहां की व्यवस्था और सफाई पर ध्यान दे और पंडितों पर कुछ अनुशासन लागू करे, तो यह जगह वाकई श्रद्धालुओं के लिए पवित्र...
