Shree ram worshipped shivling on the top, that is why it is named Ramshila. There is also impression of shree ram's foot near shivling

THIS TEMPLE IS SITUATED ON THE VERY HIGH PICK OF RAMSHILA MOUNTAIN. WHICH IS SITUATED AT CHHOTKI NAWADA AREA OF GAYA DISTRICT. It is in gaya next to bairagi. There is a temple on the top. You can go to top either by steps or by normal way in hiking mode. Climate is very good at top. Height is around 1000 m. On top there is space for picnic and puja. Sivratri is celebrated very good there..whole gaya is...
