Khandari Lake — Attraction in Cantonment

Must visit this place..But its fall is only flow in heavy rainy season. The British had created this lake in the second half of 19th century for meeting drinking water needs of Jabalpur.Municipality had to borrow Rs.6.0 lacs in 1881 from Raja Gokuldas for completing this project. Go for cycling, you will have amazing experience... there are various traks of different distances like 6km,9km,13km... per person charge is 100 rs plus charge of guide is 200rs, you are not allowed alone without guide. For cycilng early morning is best time reach there by 6 am or before beacause as sun ascends...
