I am writing to express my concerns regarding the cleanliness and hygiene standards at Mavli Mata Mandir. As a regular visitor and devotee, I have noticed several issues that need immediate attention to maintain the sacredness of the temple and ensure the well-being of all those who visit.
Dirty Floors and Surfaces: The floors in the main prayer hall and surrounding areas are often dusty and not cleaned thoroughly. This creates an uncomfortable and unhygienic environment for worshippers. In some parts of the temple, dirt accumulates around corners and under benches, which suggests that proper cleaning routines are not being followed.
Unkempt Restrooms: The restrooms in the temple complex are frequently in an unsanitary condition. They are not being cleaned regularly, and there is a persistent foul smell. The lack of proper maintenance in these facilities is unacceptable, particularly given the number of visitors who rely on them.
Waste Management Issues: I have observed that there is often garbage or offerings left unattended in certain areas of the temple, particularly near the flower offerings and in the courtyard. The accumulation of waste, especially organic matter, attracts pests and detracts from the temple's atmosphere of purity and devotion.
Neglected Sacred Spaces: The sanctum and the altar, where the idols and deities reside, are often covered in dust. This is especially concerning, as these spaces are supposed to be treated with the utmost reverence. Regular cleaning of the idols and surrounding areas should be a priority.
Lack of Proper Hygiene in Common Areas: The temple corridors and common gathering areas also require more attention to cleanliness. The presence of dust, dirt, and occasionally spilled offerings is noticeable, which makes the environment less inviting for visitors.
Given the importance of the temple as a sacred space, I kindly request that immediate steps be taken to address these issues. I suggest implementing a more rigorous cleaning schedule, especially in high-traffic areas, and ensuring that all restrooms and common facilities are regularly sanitized. Additionally, waste management should be handled more efficiently to maintain the temple’s environment.
I trust that the temple administration will take these concerns seriously and work towards improving the cleanliness and hygiene standards so that all devotees can continue to enjoy a spiritually uplifting and hygienic...
