Route provided by map is wrong.. So we had lost our way to waterfall. There was no board or sign besides road. Finally we had reached to the destination by asking to sweet people of bagicha. Waterfall is good if you choose the right month to visit.. Safety around fall is good too. You have to bring food and drinks because there is no any food stall near waterfall. One thing i didn't like that they charge 30 rs(till date) to visit there but place wasn't clean enough.. there are plastic bottles and disposals in water. And there was no water in the washroom.

A good place for picnic and for spending some time with family or friends. Google map shows the wrong route to reach this place. So its better to ask to local people on the way to this waterfall. The road just infront of the Block office (from block office take left turn then take right turn) Bagicha leads directly to the waterfall. Parking place is small but its adequate to park your 2 or 4 wheeler. Some ladies of a SHG Group are maintaining the place and are collecting Rs 30 per vehicle as entry cum parking cum visiting fee. Overall a good place to visit.

A beautiful natural waterfall spot best suited for picnics located near Bagicha village, on the way to Mainpat from Jharsuguda. A soothing picturesque view with possibility of taking a fresh bath in small pool of water for the persons with a little guts. The water volume was low during our visit but hugely increases during rainy seasons. The lush greenery around the falls is beautiful. There is a staircase which goes upto the top of the falls for a view down the flow of water, which is also excellent. Highly recommended for visit while in Mainpat.

Rajpuri Waterfall, nestled near Bagicha on the Mainpat plateau in Surguja district, is a captivating natural retreat that spans roughly 2–3 km from the nearest village road. This secluded gem, set amidst rolling hills and dense forests, offers a serene getaway ideal for nature lovers and picnickers . The waterfall features a scenic cascade, where water tumbles over rocky ledges into a calm plunge pool—picture-perfect during the monsoon and post-monsoon when the flow is at its peak. The lush greenery framing the falls creates a soothing, almost mystical ambiance . Tribal hamlets nearby add cultural charm, offering glimpses into local ways of life . Reaching Rajpuri involves a short trek through forested paths, accessible via a gravel road from Bagicha. While some portions are well-marked, the terrain is rugged, so sturdy footwear is recommended. There are no commercial facilities here—bring essentials like water, snacks, and a picnic blanket to fully enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Visitors consistently praise its unspoiled beauty. A Tripadvisor review notes: “It is a very beautiful fall just 2.5 kms from Bagicha… A good approach road is made…” . Social media highlights show crisp video clips of the falls cascading amidst verdant forests . At about 90 km from Ambikapur, it's ideal for a full-day excursion, especially when paired with other Mainpat attractions like Tiger Point, Fish Point, Ulta Pani, and Buddha Mandir . Suitable for spring or monsoon visits, Rajpuri offers refreshing dips, photography opportunities, and a peaceful forest escape. In summary, Rajpuri Waterfall is a hidden jewel—rustic yet enchanting. It offers raw natural beauty, cultural ambiance, and a quiet refuge from urban noise. Perfect for offbeat explorers seeking authenticity and calm in...

"Rajpuri Waterfall near Bagicha is a stunning natural wonder! The 100-ft cascade surrounded by dense forests and hills is a sight to behold, especially post-monsoon when the flow is at its peak. The water’s milky-white splash into the pool below is mesmerizing—perfect for photos or just soaking in the peace. It’s super accessible, just 2.5 km from Bagicha, with a good road right to the spot, no trekking needed. No entry fee, which is a plus, but bring your own food as there are no stalls nearby. The small Shiva temple adds a spiritual touch. Watch out for slippery rocks near the water—safety first! A great picnic spot, though parking can be tight. About 90 km from Jashpur, it’s an easy day trip for...
