Let me first clarify that Tamdaghumar Waterfalls is different from Mendri Gumar Waterfalls though both are just few kms away. I could see quite a few reviews of both waterfalls were written in both pages of Google mistakenly. I was under impression both are same till I went there .

Google map may not be that reliable to reach this place. Navigate to nearby village using Google and then take locals help. Road to waterfall is in mud but motorable. They collect small fee for entry. Parking 🅿️ is available near waterfalls. One small shop also available near the waterfall.

Just a minute walk from parking 🅿️ will take you to the top of waterfalls. We can safely go with family and kids. One can take dip in water stream flowing to the waterfalls since the flow is ideal during our visit. We can even cross the stream to see the waterfall from otherside. But beware that crossing stream could be risky if waterflow is more and it is slippery as well.

We could see some tents 🎪 near the waterfall where some organizing group is camping, cooking food and some are bathing in stream bit away from the tip of the waterfalls. Also saw a ATV bike as well.

On request the organiser over there agree to take us down to the waterfalls for Rs.200/- per head but we didn't opt it since the place would be slippery due to drizzle 🌧️ and not preferred with kids. Also there are lot of bee 🐝 hives 😖 near the waterfall in the top. Seems like it is doable by all who has basic fitness. We are informed that it would take easily 30+ minutes one way.

The waterflow is good in the mid of October. Check out its flow before planning. Overall one can spend ~30 minutes if not trekking down to waterfalls. Add more to it if you are planning to take...
