I was shocked & frustrated to see a woman and a man eating cake inside the Church in front of the altar on the very 1st day of this year 2018. Few seconds later, I saw the Parish Priest, wishing them. Cake was distributed outside the Church but they carried it into the Church and were involved in photo shoot session.
The parish priest during the Holy Mass prays only for the parishioners, unlike in other Churches. I have not heard him pray for non-parishioners, like ex-parishioners, visiting tourists or those from other parishes present in Silvassa Church. It's original name was "NOSSA SENHORA DE PIEDADE".
