The track to walking and jogging is amazing, specially thanks to our municipal councillor Sh Amit Nagpal who himself is a regular to this place. Our previous councillors and MLA's have been proactive with the upkeep and maintenance of this park in particular. The moment you step out of park after your regular routine you will find a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits vendor who serve the best quality products at reasonable price. It has been well developed by the Delhi Development Authority over the past three decades and they still are adding new features to it constantly. It's quite beautiful and you can easily spot peacocks and other small birds here. There used to be a natural lake in the park long time ago but it has dried up now. Cleanliness in the park is a bit of an issue with visitors throwing garbage in the park. Also, a lot of water wastage happens in the park as the gardeners and the maintenance staff employed by the DDA keep water running all the time without thinking about making optimum use of the water. Avoid visiting the park during peak afternoons or late evenings as you may come across some anti-social elements or junkies loitering around in the park at that time.
