Shri Siddh Shaktipeeth Shanidham, Asola Fatehpur Beri, Mehrauli, New Delhi
✨ A Divine and Well-Managed Temple ✨
I visited Shri Siddh Shaktipeeth Shanidham on Shani Jayanti last week, and it was a truly spiritual experience. This grand temple houses the world’s largest 8-ton Ashtadhatu idol of Lord Shani, established by Shri Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Dati Maharaj after 100 crore 25 lakh chants (jap). The temple radiates positive energy and divine vibrations. 🛕🙏
Key Highlights:
🔹 Holy Place – A highly revered site, attracting thousands of pilgrims from Delhi NCR. 🔹 Special Saturdays – Saturdays are extremely crowded due to Lord Shani’s significance. 🔹 Prasad Rituals – Prasad is packed and reusable, and devotees place it in front of the Navagrahas. Only oil is used to grease Lord Shani’s idol. 🔹 Shahi Snan (Royal Bath) – A unique spiritual practice at the temple.
Things to Keep in Mind:
⚠️ Remote Location – The temple is far inside from Chhatarpur Metro Station, with limited public transport options. 🚗 Travel Tip – It’s best to visit in a personal vehicle for a comfortable journey.
