Kille Dharur is a fascinating historical site that offers a glimpse into the rich heritage of the region. This fort , with its ancient architecture and scenic surroundings, makes for an interesting and educational visit. The fort's structure, though weathered by time, still stands strong, showcasing the craftsmanship of its builders. One of the highlights of Kille Dharur is the panoramic view it offers of the surrounding landscape. The sight from the top is truly breathtaking, making the climb worth the effort. The fort also has several intriguing spots to explore, each telling its own story from a bygone era. Visitors should be prepared for a bit of a hike, as the path to the fort involves some climbing. Comfortable shoes and sufficient water are recommended to make the journey more pleasant. The area around the fort is relatively clean and well-maintained, which enhances the overall experience. However, there are limited facilities around the fort, so carrying your own snacks and water is advisable. Also, be mindful of the weather, as it can get quite hot during the day. Overall, Kille Dharur is a must-visit for history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. The blend of historical significance and natural beauty makes it a memorable destination. Whether youтАЩre exploring the ancient ruins or simply soaking in the views, a trip to Kille Dharur is both enriching and enjoyable.

Dharur Fort is located in Beed district of Maharashtra, India. Dharur Fort is built on plain on Palghat hills and natural protection by valleys around three sides and a trench built to protect from the front.Dharur is referred in the donation given by rashtrakuta king, Govina III as Dharur. Before Aurangzeb captured, it changed many hands including kingdoms of Bijapur, Bidar and Ahmednagar. Situated as it is to the west of the town, it has only one entrance and that is to the east facing the city, so that viewed from The City the fort appears to be a land fort. As one enters the fort, this illusion is lost on the mind and one gets a wide expanse of the hilly region stretching beyond. On the descending hill-slopes to the north are built the powerful fort walls and bastions, probably with a view to prevent any attack upon the city from that side. To make the fort impregnable and secure the town against the enemy attacks, a solid wall with bastions was built on the slopes of the hills. The fort also contains a tank(Godi Dindi), Rang Mahal, Hamam Khana, Daru Khana, Old Mosque, Dargah, Hawa Mahal and three big wells. In the centre of this tank is a bore of 152.4 mm. (6") diameter and it appears to be the source of water to the tank.

It is one of the best fort among Hill station fort related to Netaaji Palkhar history... It's speciality is ,its build structure Which is massive and located on the edge of Hills.... Specially visit in rainy season which gives awesome feel of greenery on it's west side with beutiful sunset ..... off course on west side which is open space with mountains ЁЯПЮя╕ПЁЯПЮя╕ПЁЯПЮя╕ПЁЯПЮя╕П. Some pros 1) rebuild work is in progress to retain the heritage of Maahraj 2) city ppl including children are giving helping hands to preserve it.... 3) there is a Amba Devi temple in between the hills (3 to 3.5 km away from fort) with river attach with it...watch video on YouTube...u will find it 4)u can also some wild animal.....Samber,dear,Pecock,Wolf.....etc cons: 1) it is other side of city ( I.e.west) from bus stand (3 km away ) 2) if u want to avoid the rush of Traffic follow the route from Tahshil Road (during entry in city from telgaon )

(6") diameter and it appears to be the source of water...
