I recently visited Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary and had a mixed experience. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts: 1. Size and Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐ Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is relatively small compared to other wildlife sanctuaries, but it has its own charm. The compact size makes it easier to explore and navigate. The cleanliness of the sanctuary is commendable. The paths are well-maintained, and the surroundings are free from litter. It's a pleasant place to spend a few hours in nature. 2. Animal Variety: ⭐⭐ While the sanctuary boasts a decent variety of wildlife, I must admit that I expected to see more animals during my visit. There were a few species of deer, monkeys, and birds, but I was hoping for a more diverse range of fauna. If you're primarily looking for a wildlife experience, you might want to manage your expectations accordingly. 3. Restroom Maintenance: ⭐⭐⭐ The restrooms in Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary were well-maintained and clean. I appreciate the efforts made to provide visitors with hygienic facilities. It's essential to have functional and tidy restrooms, especially during longer visits or with children. Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary scores well in this regard. In conclusion, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary offers a small and clean retreat amidst nature. While the variety of animals might not be extensive, it still provides an opportunity to observe some local wildlife. The maintenance of the restrooms adds to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a quick nature escape, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary can be a satisfactory choice.

Zoo. Located in the jungle. Beautiful well-maintained place. Entrance fee - 50 rupees, children - free. Plus 50 rupees for the entry of the car. On the way you can meet spotted deer, langurs and macaques. These animals live in the local jungle. There are viewing platforms. For example, to monitor the watering of wild animals. Zoo animals live in enclosures. There are crocodiles, leopards, pythons, porcupines, wild boars, peacocks. I remember most of all the aviary with gaurs (giant bull). We stopped by the zoo, so we only stayed for 2 hours. You can spend the night in this reserve. On the territory there is a hotel, a restaurant and a cafeteria with samosas and soda. It is worth paying attention to the sculptures in the zoo. They are very interesting and beautiful. There is a flower garden with flowers and butterflies. But at lunch they sleep. We and our children enjoyed it very much. Perfect place.

Bondla Wildlife sanctuary and zoo explores a different side of Goa which is peaceful, calm and nature friendly environment along with a decent sightings of animals.Bondla zoo is definitely not a large one in terms of area and range of wild animals..but if offers a good experience for someone who wants to explore a different side of Goa.We visited on Sunday and there was quite a rush from family who enjoys the outing in the various garden and lawn spaces available inside the zoo.So definitely would recommend to family with kids so that they can see the animals and enjoy playing in the surroundings.Entry ticket fee of 50 and car entry fee 50 paid. From the main gate you have to take the car inside for another 1.5 km inside to the parking space which has decent space for parking.Overall a decent 2 hr spent and enjoyed.

Good and calm environment, animals are less, I wanted to see tiger and elephant in there but it wasn’t in there other animals u can see and enjoy, it has a good garden as well in case u r interested with plants and tree, way is little bit far away but it is worth it, u should get some food and drink with urself because near to zoo there is no shop or restaurant ( maybe during season there will be some, I visited in September). Also worth to mention that u should get a comfortable shoe or sandal with urself cuz it is like almost 30-minute walk to see all animals and if u wanted to see garden it will be more. I liked it and I recommend everyone to go once. ✌️ P.s: u can feed red face monkeys with some candy or snacks as well but be careful cuz it is against zoo regulations and zoo staff don't catch u 😄😜

Wow, what an incredible experience! Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is a true gem. The moment I entered, I was struck by the lush greenery and the serene atmosphere. The sanctuary is home to a vast array of flora and fauna, and the guides are knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their expertise. What impressed me most was the dedication to conservation and sustainability. The sanctuary is well-maintained, and the staff are committed to protecting the environment and educating visitors. Overall, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Five stars aren't enough - I'd give it ten! Exceptional experience, stunning natural beauty, and a commitment to conservation make it a true standout. Don't miss it!

In 2017 they had a lot more animals including an elephant. I guess it’s good that less animals are captured in cells now. Now they have 5-6 species. A lot of the spaces are empty. But the ones that were there had a lot of space and big natural habitat enclosures to roam around and enjoy and were well maintained and animals looked healthy and happy. I hope the rest of the animals are free and happy though. Not sure where the elephant went. There were a lot of funny monkeys roaming around tho so they were cool to see just don’t try to show them bags or snacks they will hustle you haha. The garden is beautiful though and very less people so it’s peaceful to walk around and enjoy a nice day shaded away from the heat. Really love coming here.
