From the time we checked in till he dropped us at the airport, Mr. Carlos made us feel we were his family. We felt as if we were staying at one of our close relative's residence.
The room was clean & spacious. It also had a large road facing balcony with flower pots and bamboo chairs. The room had everything necessary - Large beds, windows with mosquito nets, fridge filled with water, electric kettle, tea bags, coffee powder, toiletries required and even a first aid box!
The room was filled with moonlight in the night and sweet sound of chirping birds all through the morning. Something people staying in the busy cities don't get to experience.
The large garden was very beautiful with varieties of large and small trees and lots of flower plants. The pool, the play area & the river side shacks were neat and well maintained. Our daughter enjoyed running around and playing in the slide, the trampoline & the swing.
Mr. Carlos even helped us go around the village in his car and showed us several places in loutlim village.
Thank you Mr. Carlos & Merlyn for your genuinely caring hospitality during our stay.

Read moreIf you're looking for a peaceful outing with family and friends then without a doubt this is one of the best places to visit. They have an amazing view and a stunning garden to relax. They have two swimming pools, not the largest but ok for about 8 - 10 adults. It's neat and clean so that's a big plus, apart from that there is plenty of shade because of the tall trees and tents that are there in the botanical garden. There are a surprisingly large variety of plant's which is not easy to find in a single place. You can also see some caged birds and also a rabbit. The staff is also very supportive and get things done quickly. They also have an artificial waterfall and a small area for rain dance. The trampoline, slide, swing and see-saw also provide entertainment for the kids. There is also a canteen available to get something to eat. Overall it's a great place to go and definitely...
Read moreVery nice place for picnics (if you don't mind climbing stairs and the long walk). You can fish while you enjoy the place. There are play parks for children of all ages. And ofcourse 2 swimming pools and a baby pool (which is always empty). My grievance however will be with the management. They have only 2 pools which is subjective to usage. For instance when I attended a picnic at the place with my family there were already 2 other families booked for the place. However the swimming pools were alloted privately only to 2 families for the entire day which I think is unfair to us as we were promised a pool time too and was included in the entrance fee. Our entire family (kids included) had to go disappointed. My suggestion would be...if you can't allot the pool to more than 2 families, don't take a 3rd family to make your buck. Or just keep the pool as a sharing pool like...
