a museum about the different houses of Goa..the ticket is 150 rs per head .u get coupons of 50rs.. that can be redeemed from the coffee shop there or maria gallery which is 100m from the museum..the museum is very well maintained and very aesthetic..perfect for some instagram worthy pics..donot forget to click some pictures from their balcony..the staff that give u tickets are very friendly.. they even make your day by praising you .which is a very nice gesture in todays world, where no one appreciates any body..u have parking in front of the museum.. you have to go bare foot inside... a little different from the age old stereotyped museums..but a really nice one.. the museum is 3 storied.. it has level has pictures about the different house types of goa.. goanese houses, portuguese house, Christan houses, hindu houses.. the different prayer rooms in houses of the different communities..the different types of railing that r used..the different types of tiles.. you have headphones in the museum where u can sit and listen to age old goanese music..over all a very nice museum where u can visit with family..the coffee shop of the museum serves finger snacks, like nuggets, pakora, and homemade icecreams...

Some people might find it disappointing as well because it has less characteristics of traditional museum and looks more like a fancy art store or boutique. However, I really enjoyed this place. It had a different vibe, the architecture of this house/museum itself is very unique and abstract. It showcases images and artifacts used in architecture and houses of different styles in Goa and beyond. The entry fee is 100, of which you can redeem 50 to eat something in the cafe or at the art gallery (Mario Gallery). The souvenir shop known as Mario art gallery has some amazing things for people to bring back for their loved ones at home. Overall, the place is a 15-20 minutes exploring, not much to be honest.
