Firstly I was very sad to see the road which goes towards the wonderful place... I don't know why educated people act like dumb... Just took a turn from main road and tone of garbage was thrown to welcome the visitors.. secondly was again disappointed to see how such a historical place is kept without maintenance... It's a great sign of history.. and first time I was shock to see how the Muslim brother and sister are not taking care of this place.. my third point goes to people who go on top to celebrate Birthday or anniversary... Whom are you keeping the candles, cake boxes for after celebrating.. 4th point to road side lover to write their name on such beautiful historical wall...
I recommend people to visit... To see the historical beauty... But don't destroy it with your garbage... Take the garbage along with you the same way you take the pictures you have captured in...
Read moreI hadn't expected to find such a beautiful view point in Bicholim ever, until I found this place! It brought pure solace to me to see the gorgeous view, the cold breeze and a certain calm of the mind!
It's a trek of around 200m from where you park your vehicle to the view point, trust me, the view is worth the effort taken in the climb.
The place is surrounded by columns with a crescent shaped moon on each of these pillars. There is also a small mosque up there, but doesn't really seem like a place of worship.
