Wow, great place and uncommon cubed architecture for the spot, until you start finding out about the recent (maybe last 10 years) bout of artistic types, Indian and to some extent foreign too, who are moving to sleepy, interior, cool Moira town in the previous years and calling it home. The gallery space is not enormous, but is very well thought out by owner Sonny Singh and wife Carolina Paez, faring all the way from Venezuela (she's great!!!! they both are). I went to see an exhibit on opening night by Russian painter Aljona Shapovalova, whom I chatted with for a while. She had a few paintings with an incredible rendition of leaves, or so I thought. The place was festooned for the gala night, with a sound and art installation as you entered, the gallery building beautifully lit up against the dark Moira night. There's a small catering corner where Natalia, owner of Rare Republic, a Cafe-cum-Fashion store in the Siolim-Chapora road, regaled us with some delicious tidbits... and diagonally opposite to that, there is another outside sitting area with bar where two musicians livened up the event with blues music mostly. 1st floor hold a number of apartments for artists or travellers to stay in.
