This 15th century step well is smaller than the one at Adalaj (Adalaj ni Vav). Very similar design and motifs although not much animals in the artisan and craftsmanship at show. This entire area from Patan to Mansa to Adalaj and Ambapur are speckled with step wells. This is a witness of the ruler's concern and provision for the people, given the arid region.
