Aqua Blue Water Park - A Disappointing Decline
My family and I have been visiting Aqua Blue Water Park for many years, but our most recent trip was thoroughly disappointing. What was once a preferred destination has significantly declined in quality, especially concerning its high price point—it's notably one of the most expensive water parks in South Gujarat, even surpassing those in Surat. Here are the specific issues that made our experience so poor:
Shift in Weekend Policy: Previously, weekends were reserved strictly for families or couples. However, the park has now started allowing bachelor groups on weekends. This fundamental change drastically alters the park's atmosphere and negatively impacts the family-friendly environment.
Overcrowding and Safety Concerns: Due to the influx of bachelor groups, the park was jam-packed. There appears to be no limit on the number of people allowed entry, leading to extreme overcrowding. This not only made families feel very uncomfortable but also raised significant safety concerns on the rides due to the sheer volume of people.
Appalling Washroom Conditions: The state of the washrooms was pathetic. Not a single shower was functional, and the entire area reeked strongly of urine. They were unequivocally not clean and clearly lacked proper maintenance.
Exorbitant Food Prices for Poor Quality: The food quality was never a highlight, but it has now become unacceptable given the price. They've increased prices to ₹200 per plate, which is far too high for the very low quality and quantity of food served. It simply doesn't offer any value for money.
Insecure Locker Area: The locker facilities provided were not at all safe. I would strongly advise against keeping any valuables in them, as there's a clear risk of theft.
Considering this overall experience—a marked decline in service, comfort, and safety standards at an already premium price—I would now prefer any other water park. Aqua Blue offers minimal rides that can easily be found elsewhere, and the current experience no longer...
Read moreWater park is not much big Limited adventure ride Pool is very small, over crowded on Sunday without proper security and support staff available to assist/control the same. As per my view, their mango farm is bigger than water park
Pros : Limited adventure ride but well maintained Water is filtered, clean and flow cool from fountains. Sitting area under mango trees feels different experience and sufficient sitting space Well managed parking space Locker room is huge and well managed Changing room, washroom and shower area clean and well maintained (seperate for male and female) Costume provided by resort is reasonable rate of Rs. 100 rent and well washed and dried (clean without dirty smells)
Cons: Never visit on Sunday over crowded
Worst management to issue entry ticket it takes minimum 45 minutes to stand in queue the resort staff is unable to manage proper system and queue for issue entry ticket.
Only two window to issue entry ticket and there is no any seperate window for locker or costume. So if you forget to take locker or costume with entry ticket you have to again stand last in improper queue and wait another 30-45 minutes for that.
Entry ticket payment to be made through card or upi but locker and costume payment to be made by cash only
The same situation as entry ticket counter again you faced @ food stall and the food coupon issued from counter without knowing the issued coupon dishes are available or stock out at kitchen.
Single counter for getting food coupon, water, soft drinks, packed snacks, icecream etc. create unwanted crowd at coupon counter without any proper queue.
No handwash facilities available at food court and didn't seen free drinking water facilities in resort
Food is okay
Manchurian noodles is horrible as we order for only one plate for testing and we also ordered for Pavbhaji but due to stock out of pav, we got puries with bhaji without salad and spoon.
Insufficient security staff at water ride ending point may...
Read moreI would like to keep my review to the point and be honest.
You would see many reviews appreciating the management. However I have mixed reactions. We received a very rude reaction in the start but as soon as they saw our tripod and thought that we might be some Youtubers their behaviour suddenly changed and they welcomed us wholeheartedly. They also asked us to give them a good review and also specifically asked to write that the management was great.
There was no online payment available. When we visited. So keep some cash with you. Just in case. Lines are the most irritating part which I experienced. Ticketing was too slow. It took me 25 minutes to even get a couple of tickets.
We didn't use their canteen service. The locker room was full of litter and water and also there was no way to change clothes without people sitting in the garden having direct sight of the locker room 😰. There was a changing room but it was full of water and there were no hooks or anything to hang your clothes for a few minutes. Cleanliness couldn't be found here. No carpet in the park to save your feet from getting burnt.
Very few rides and a few were also out of operation. However it's enjoyable and fun. We enjoyed it a lot. But it's not worth the money is my final review.
₹600 is the entry. Then the locker and costumes are 100-100 ₹each. No food included. Which is expensive many waterparks offer great value at...
