Bechtel Beach — Attraction in Gujarat

130 kms from Jamnagar city. I have been to Goa as well but this beach is really beautiful, not many people go there so it's very clean, it's a sand beach & not mud. I work for Reliance industries so was posted in Jamnagar city reliance township. We used to go to this beach every month. The winds are cool, waves are incessant & the sunset/sunrise looks beautiful, further the water is clean so don't hesitate to take a salt water bath. Few tips:- Plan a trip for Dwarka. Leave in the early morning- visit all the temples by 11am & leave for okha where after crossing a sea stretch of 3-4 kms you will be taken to an island where another Krishna temple is there known as 'bet dwarka'. This beach is on the way to Dwarka city from Jamnagar. Located nearly 20 Km before Dwarka city its natural beauty is maintained, people who wants to relax in calm atmosphere will. It is a very clean and calm beach with not much people i it. The beach is very long and shallow. One can claim his territory and own it for the time being. There is a railway track and a salt evaporation pond near by. It is not a drive in beach. Vehicles have to be drive down from the high way and there is place to park them. Don't drive it in to loose sand, it will be difficult to get it out with hardly any people to help you. To reach the beach one has to cross a bund of loose sand. It's really awesome place on the way to Dwarka from khambhalia. It's usually called Okhamadhi beach. Tortoise museum also there running by government. Sea is little bit deep and uncontrolled. Better just enjoy at Sea beach. Not recommended to go inside. Further sudden deep expected. But view is extraordinary. You can see view of some boats fishing just far away.
