Girmal Waterfall, located in the Dangs district of Gujarat, is a stunning natural attraction known for being the highest waterfall in the state, cascading down from a height of over 100 feet. Nestled within the lush forests of the Purna Wildlife Sanctuary, it offers a picturesque escape, particularly captivating during the monsoon season when the water flow is at its peak. The waterfall's misty spray and the surrounding greenery create a serene and refreshing ambiance, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

The journey to Girmal Waterfall is an experience in itself, with the road leading through dense forests and alongside the Gira River. A particularly scenic spot is the U-turn point of the Gira River, where the river makes a complete U-turn, and the Forest Department has developed a viewpoint offering panoramic views of the sanctuary. The Eco-Development Committee (EDC) of the Forest Department also runs a restaurant named 'U-turn restaurant' at this location, providing a convenient spot for refreshments.

Girmal Waterfall is not just a visual treat; it's a place to connect with nature and experience the tranquility of the Dangs region. The surrounding Purna Wildlife Sanctuary is a haven for biodiversity, offering opportunities for nature walks, bird watching, and exploring the rich flora and fauna. While the waterfall can be enjoyed year-round, the monsoon season, from June to September, is the best time to witness its full glory and the surrounding landscape at its most vibrant. The waterfall's powerful cascade, combined with the lush greenery, creates a mesmerizing spectacle that draws visitors from...

A must visit place if you really want explore the beauty of dang. The entire journey is full of mesmerising places. don't mis judge the height of water fall just by looking at it. Observe the surrounding and get lost into the mother nature. The journey might be bumpy but have patience it worth the trouble. most importantly do enjoy the journey it self as it takes through thick and thin forests ,crop fields and untouched mother nature. As you go pass river do pay heed to aboriginal tribes and their life style. You will finds lots of tick woods ,nagli plants , homegrow veggies just few feets away from your vehicle. Few tips 1) don't spoil the olace by throwing plastic, garbage like others. It was clean please help the place keep its beauty. 2)enjoy and immerse your self into the scenic nature. 3)spend some time you might have traveled long just enjoy the silence and nature's voice.
