Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary — Attraction in Gujarat

The Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary is a small but significant wildlife sanctuary located near rajkot city. Beautiful place for bird lovers and a place worth taking your school going childrens....... per person entry fees is Rs 50 and with Camera fees it is Rs 250, a bit expensive as per my opinion but worth it. A central area with ample parking space and a toilet is available. Camping options available good for nature study camps. Hub of rare birds like Asian paradise flycatcher, indian pita, a few varieties of Cukoos. It is much like undisturbed preserved natural habitat for birds so approach with care and concern for nature especially by not touching the bird nests and chicklings. Very pristine scrub jungle. Amazing wildlife sanctuary with good nature education activities carried out almost throughout the year. Campsite is very good. The information placards are fixed throughout the trail where people can get to know many things about nature and wildlife. You can spot many birds like Indian pitta, woodpeckers, quails, doves, prinias etc. You can spot Indian gazelle, snakes, skinks also. Must visit place for nature lovers.
