If you’re nature’s lover, you are definitely going to like it. It’s a beautiful place located in Jamnagar. Must visit in early morning. You’re going to love to see the sun rise here. You can see more birds in morning. There are many kind of birds in khijadia. Most of them are Pelicans. It’s around 10 km walk to visit this place properly and ticket price is ₹50.

Such varieties and multitude of birds! It's mind boggling. It's a walk of 5km inside in phase 2. One can drive inside phase 1 on nominal charges. One must go very early and be inside the sanctuary by early dawn when the birds start feeding. By 9am as the sun rays hit the water directly most have fed themselves and may fly away or seek shelter. By 10 - 1030 am the lakes are empty. A good pair of binoculars, bottle of water, an energy bar and the guide book from the sanctuary office are a must for avid bird watchers. Late afternoon by 4:30- 5 pm is another good time. All the pelicans, painted stirks, grey legged geese may be sitting on the mounds that time. Coots, ducks, cormorants, darters and all waders will be busy getting their last bite. Sanctuary closes by 6pm. Restrooms and play areas available in the office area. There are multistorey posts at 1 km distances where one can rest and see see tbirds from height.

ખૂબ સરસ, શાંત અને ફરવા લાયક સ્થળ છે. ઓક્ટોબર થી માર્ચ સુધી ખુલ્લું રહે છે. અહિં એક વ્યક્તિની એન્ટ્રી ટિકિટ -40 રૂપિયા છે. ફોરેનર માટે 10ડૉલર. બે ભાગમાં અભ્યારણ છે એક ભાગમાં ચાલીને 2km જેટલુ જવું પડે છે. જ્યારે બીજા ભાગમાં વાહન લઈને જવાનું છે.... ફોરવ્હિલ માટે એક્સ્ટ્રા 400 રૂપિયા ફિ ચૂકવવાની રહેશે.... કેમેરો હોય તો 200 રૂપિયા એક્સ્ટ્રા ચૂકવવા પડશે..... જો અહી જવાનો પ્લાન ગોઠવવો હોય તો ડિસેમ્બર મહિનો બેસ્ટ રહેશે...... આ સમય ગાળામાં વીદેશી પક્ષી વધુ જૉવા મળે છે...... ખાસ દૂરબીન લઈ જવાનું ભૂલવું નહી.... बहुत अच्छी, शांत और घूमने लायक जगह है। अक्टूबर से मार्च तक खुला रहता है। यहां एक व्यक्ति के लिए प्रवेश टिकट 40/- रुपये है। विदेशियों के लिए 10 डॉलर।। अभयारण्य दो हिस्से में है, एक हिस्से में 2किमी तक पैदल चलना पड़ता है। दूसरे हिस्से में गाड़ी लेकर जा सकते हो। चार पहिया वाहन के लिए 400/- रुपये अतिरिक्त देने होंगे। अगर आपके पास कैमरा है तो आपको 200/- रुपये अतिरिक्त देने होंगे। अगर आप यहां जाने का प्लान बनाना चाहते हैं तो दिसंबर सबसे अच्छा महीना रहेगा, इस दौरान विदेशी पक्षी अधिक देखे जाते हैं। विशेष दूरबीन ले जाना न भूलें।

Nature is always amazing. Salt water types and freshwater types of birds are seen here. Early morning, right before sunrise is the best time to spot them. Don't forget to carry binoculars, birds watching cameras is the best option. PLEASE make sure you don't litter around and keep this place beautiful and clean as it is.

Heaven for the bird lovers, paradise for nature lovers. a wonderful place to visit on earth. superb excellent awesome. we were able to see atleast 50 species of birds with awesome guide Mr. Tofik. go there at least once in your life. Please don't litter. Respect the environment and its creations.
