Itavita's son Kuber (Vaishravana) who was the eldest son was enthroned by Dadaji Pilatsya and entrusted with the responsibility of the kingdom. That step brother Ravana did not like. Believing that an injustice has been done, he chanted penance in the forest. Shivaji was pleased and gave the boon. So Ravana defeated Kubera and took away all his wealth. Devarshi Narada asked Kubera to go to Karbali Tirtha and do penance. Kuber pleased Shivaji there. Shivaji said to give him the demand and Bholanath himself gave all the wealth of heaven and made Kubera the treasurer of the gods. So called Kuber Bhandari. Ravana was very sad and took Pushpaka Vimana Hari and fell behind Kubera. So Kubera again begged Bholanath to save himself. Bholanath said: Both of you are my devotees. So worship Ambaji.
