Leave aside summers and hot days, this place is most suited for an outing with family, kids, groups or a social gathering. This place has a good combination of enjoyment, education, kids activities, elders resting place and river bed too with a historical background. The administration has set the pace for developing this place and if the interest is continued the place will be soon be a favourite among locals and nearby. Firstly this place is open only on weekends.ie Saturday and Sunday. Entry time is 9.00 am to 17.00 pm and no entry after 16.30 hrs. On entering you have to make a token registration of your name in the register. You are faced with a lush green garden well maintained in the first five days on which it is closed to the public. Here you can see the varieties of plants and flowers.A brief is given of a few important plants and the walk way is covered by bamboos at many places. Besides plants there is a play area for kids with swings and all a kids enjoy. There is Bhammariya Kuvo and the descriptioin is given on its importance. There are four paintings which summarise the history of this village Vaherakhedi and how the name Mahisagar has been derived.Very nice effort and paintings presentation. You can do a lot of photography inside and both photography and parking are free as of now. Having seen this garden and on your exit, also have darshan of Maa Mahisagar temple which is slightly up on the same road. After darsahn you can either climb down or if have a vehicle return back to the ghat or river bed area to have view of the "chori" and river bath.

Mahisagar Van Vehrakhadi is a serene escape that beautifully blends nature and mythology. Located about 32 kilometers from Vadodara, this park is a must-visit for anyone seeking tranquility. The lush greenery and well-maintained pathways create a peaceful atmosphere perfect for leisurely strolls or family outings. One of the standout features is the mythological art that decorates the park, telling stories related to the Mahisagar River. The Bamboo Lane, with its towering bamboo plants, offers a picturesque spot for photography and reflection. The Sanskrutik Van section is a lovely area filled with diverse shrubs and benches, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The lookout point offers stunning views of the Mahisagar River, making it an ideal place to catch a breathtaking sunset. Visiting in the early morning or late afternoon is recommended to fully appreciate the beauty and avoid the heat. Overall, Mahisagar Van Vehrakhadi is an enchanting destination that caters to nature lovers, families, and anyone looking to unwind. With its rich cultural elements and picturesque settings, it promises a memorable experience that will leave you refreshed and inspired. Don’t miss this hidden gem on your next trip!
