Malnath Mahadev Temple — Attraction in Gujarat

Situated among hills, you can access this place via Kobdi through bhavnagar/talaja side and as shown in Google from Ahmedabad.

Having travelled on both routes the Kobdi route is motorable fully while one in Google has some limitations and at Moti Moral ask locals for a drivable route which is from Nani Koral.

Some 16 kms before this temple you start getting the vibes of this place by way of greenery visible all around.

Temple is some 650 years old and has drinking water facilities and covered place for devotees. Aside there is a water pool mostly used by locals leaving you more as a spectator only.

Be certain to visit this place after 2 to 3 heavy downpour till December end. Later either before or after ⛅. This enable formation of natural streams and waterways. Locals convey that the place of waterfall has been levelled by greedy mankind for excavation. So try to be on lookout for new fall formation.

Priest is helpful and crowd on weekends. Parking is free and ample space.

This place is around 20 km drive from bhavnagar centre area. If you want to use public transport then pick up the vehicles from "Talaja cross road" ( popularly known as "talaja jakat naka") and get a ride to "Kobdi" village. Back to the topic: This is one of the finest religious place for hindus but the location where it has been located has no religion. Located in the lap of the vallies you will be mesmerized by the typical village side natural view of the saurashta region. People are very friendly If you surpass the language barrier.
