The Dargah is in a fort like structure and at the top of the fort is DADI MAA KI CHAKKI. (Handdriven Flour grinding Mill)..Earlier the Chakki was present physically but due to the increaze in number of Zayreens the Small chakki was removed and a Gumbad was constructed.. If anyone has an evil spirit in him he has to take 7 rounds of the Chakki and his Evil spirit will be removed. Also there is Chillah Mubarak of Dadi Amma and Rasti Amma (real mother of Hz. Sayed Ali) in the fort.Just Nearby is Dargah of Hazrat Hamza who was Maternal uncle of Hazrat Sayed Ali he was also a Martyr and at his Mazaar also treatement of evil spirits is done...After Asar prayers Laubhan is done at mazaar sharif of Mamu Hamza. Read moreUnjha Railway Station is the nearest railway station. Distance from here to Dargah is approx. 5km. From Railway Station, share Autos are the only available transport to Dargah. They charge Rs.10/- per person in daytime and around Rs.80/- per trip at night. During night time(and even day time) do not try to walk from railway station as possibility of getting looted is very high and distance is also pretty high.
Too many lodges and guest houses are available near Dargah within 1km radius. There are also several dharmashalas maintained by several caste groups. You should be easily able to get rooms at Rs.400/day at lodges, you can bargain as per your wish. Generally people come here for ailment remedy and they at times stay for 10 to 40 days. So these lodges/guesthouses/dharmashalas will also have cheaper packages for longer duration of stay. In general, Places in and around and very close to dargah is very dirty.
Apart from Mira Datar Dargah, there are 2 more locations people usually visit. Rastiamma ka Dargah and Datar Bapu ki Adalat. These are 5km away from Mira Datar Dargah. I would suggest not to walk, even in day time, as chances of getting looted is very high. Auto from Mira Datar Dargah should not charge more than Rs.120-150 per trip. Rs.150/- is hard stop. Journey to these locations and coming back to Mira Datar Dargah should not take more than 2 hours.
Basically Mira Datar Dargah is located in the place called Unava and its built in and around this Dargah. A highway passes through the middle of the village and Mira Datar Dargah is located on the sides of this highway.
There is one more dargah 500m away from Mira Datar Dargah on the highway only, I'm not aware of the complete name, it starts with pappu sahab ki dargah, very much walkable. Another one is Dadi ma ki Chakki within Mira Datar Dargah area. After entering from main entry, take left and immediate right, you should see stairs in front and at left. This stairs(both front and left one) will direct you to Dadi Ma Ki Chakki. This place has a dome and people touch it continuously and circle it anti clockwise. Duration is your wish. This location will is closed from 12noon-5pm everyday.
Sambrani/Loban is put here everyday(both early morning and the evening). In Dadi Ma Ki Chakki, it's at 4:30pm, and in Mira Datar Dargah, it's 6pm in the evening and around 5-6am at the morning. I'm not sure for Pappu sahab ki dargah and the morning Loban time for all three locations, please enquire at local shops. Please do be there at the right time and get the feel of it, it's the top most thing everyone expects from here.
I would suggest the following plan, If you're planning for 1 time visit. First visit the pappu sahab ki dargah, then go to Dadi Ma Ki Chakki, then go to Mira Datar Dargah and then take an auto to Rastiamma ki Dargah and Datar Bapu ki Adalat. At what time to start, please enquire the Loban time at each of these locations and start accordingly. Apart from this, you can visit these individual locations any number of times in a day.
As per my knowledge, there are 4 veg hotels available, all within 100m radius from Mira Datar Dargah. One inside Jain Dharmashala, two hotels after crossing pappu sahab ki Dargah and Latha Behen ki Garh. I would suggest the last one as they give the tastiest foods, must try. From Mira Datar Dargah, towards Paapu Sahab ki Dargah, after Jain Dharmashala, there is a left turn. Take left, walk for 50m and enquire "Latha Behen ki Garh". Please talk to them in advance on whether you require all 3 meals a day or only breakfast/lunch/dinner. Clearly finalize on what should be provided as meal. There are too many non-veg hotels around Mira Datar Dargah.
Free drinking water is available at Jain Dharmashala. Average veg food cost per day is Rs.50-70/person at all...
