Make sure to visit the orientation centre first before you start exploring the campsite as that would give a good picture of what you are about to experience during your stay.

Most of these Eco Campsites use electricity which is generated by using solar energy, hence please use it responsibly.

No smoking whatsoever (cigarette butts cause many forest fires).

No flash or intrusive photography (for example, don’t pluck leaves to clear a better view; reposition the camera instead).

Do not carry any music system or sound making device along with you and remember to keep them switched off if you are driving around.

Picking plants or insects is prohibited in any area; do not remove anything from the parks or sanctuaries.

Do not indulge in any quick or sudden movements to scare off wildlife.

Do not try going too close to the animals.

No pets should accompany you.

No littering. Trash is only to be disposed of in proper receptacles.

No hunting devices or other weapons should be carried, as well as used.

The park lies close to National Highway 8 and is bisected by the Waghai-Vansda State Highway. The nearest town is Waghai, 4 km away. It is 28 km from Ahwa, 40 km from Billimora, and 60 km from Saputara. The area is easiest explored with a private vehicle, but public transport is available, though less convenient. There are buses from Surat, Billimora, and Valsad to Vansda village, and from there you can hire a jeep to the park for about Rs 50/- per person. There are no taxi operations close to Vansda, but you can also get a cab from Surat, Bilimora or Valsad. By ST bus, Ahwa, the district headquarters and on a plateau from which begins the ascenscion from Waghai to Saputara, is often the most convenient place to arrive...

Best place for one day picnic with family and friends. You can also stay over here. AC and Non AC rooms are available at very reasonable rates. Food facility is very nice. Restaurant is there where you can find delicious food including Gujarati Thali. Large parking space for cars and buses. Archery park, bowling are too enjoying. There is Arogya Van where you will see many herbal plants and fruit trees. There is cactus house and orchid house which has many varieties of plants. River is just alongside the tourism spot. Steps are there to approach to the bank of river. In monsoon the beauty touches the sky. Awesome!! Entry fee is ₹50 per person. There are lots of greenery and tall trees. Sun rays coming to the ground from the sky through the trees creates lovely scenery. Photography lovers would love this place too much. Many visitors bring food from home and have lunch below the thick shadows of tall trees. Outside food, plastic bags and plastic water bottles are not permitted inside the tourism spot. You must carry mosquito repellent cream or mosquito agarbatti if you wish to sit or sleep here because there are many mosquitos due to thick greenery. There is Gusmai Mata temple just 5km away from this place, which is very beautiful. Plan your visit and you will enjoy. Children will enjoy here a lot. The place is maintained very well. The staff is very...

I recently visited Padam Dungri Campsite, and I have to say...what a disaster! Despite charging a hefty amount, the place is in shambles. Neither Gujarat Tourism nor the local RFO seems to care about its maintenance. You’d expect some level of service for the price, but this place feels like a run-down, cheap guesthouse. The washroom windows are broken, offering zero privacy and letting insects in. The geyser was literally hanging from the wall...what if it blasts? And yes, it was working when checked, which is even more dangerous. The shower didn’t work at all, making things even worse. There was no handwash in the washroom, basic hygiene is completely ignored. The beds are cheap and uncomfortable, not something you expect after paying a good amount. The mattress and pillows were filthy, stained and smelly, making it almost impossible to sleep. Mosquitoes, cockroaches, and even lizards inside the room...yes, it was that bad! The so-called security guard was sleeping all night...great, right? If anything happened, you’re on your own. This place is a huge scam. The authorities don't care, and they’re just looting visitors without offering even the most basic facilities. Avoid it at all costs unless you enjoy wasting money and suffering through the night. There are way better places in Gujarat to experience nature without feeling cheated.
