Rakshak van is located in village Saraspar on the way to Khavda near Rudra Mata Dam, around 15km from Bhuj City. It is a perfect place for nature lovers, & peace lover. It is basically a garden which is spread in a huge area, which is a absolute example of Hariyali Kranti”(Green Revolution)… focusing intensive tree plantation around the water bodies such as lakes, rivers, ponds etc … greenery every visitor will enjoy here. This place is unpolluted and provides oxygen..it is a mini forest we must say.

This place has its own interesting arcane heroic history. Entry is amazing.. you can see huge entry gate which seems to be some replica of some kind of Fort (Killa), sculptures of lions, sybols of bravery, placed on entrance, inside there are many small van (mini forests) Nakshatra Van, Rashivan, Navagrihavan, Dev Van, Khajuri Van etc, kachchi Bungas, Display of Fighter plan, submarine, helicopters,etc. Selfie point every where.. its wonderful.
Here is a torch sculpture paying tribute to the martyrs. Which reminds of heroes. The interpretation center showcases Kachchh's wildlife folk life and social forestry practices.
