🙏 Jai Ambe Ma 🙏 It is also known as Nana Ambaji Temple. Situated in north-east of the town, the Ambika temple was originally built in the early 11th century and renovated many time subsequently. The older parts of the modern temple belong to the 17th century. The temple is simple rectangular chamber with mukhamandapa in front. The base has an unusually thick jadyakumbha, a karnika and a plain pattika. It is followed by a vedibandha and a plain mandovara relieved by three niches, now empty. The temple is roofed by phansana topped by three ghanatas in a row, the form only seen in 11th century. The mukhamandapa has usual moulding of mattavarana. The square of temple was known as Chachar Chowk. The temple is north-facing. The older idols in the temple complex include Ganesha idol on the entrance and Hanuman and Kal Bhairava idols. Other Places of interest - 1 - Brahma temple 2 - Brahma stepwell ( Vav ) 3 - Aditi stepwell ( Vav ) 4 - Kshirjamba Mahalaxmi temple 5 - Pankhanath Mahadev temple

Visiting Khedbharmamataji Mandir in Gujarat was a truly blessed experience. The serenity and spiritual energy that envelop this sacred place are awe-inspiring. The temple's architecture is a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat, with intricate details and vibrant colors that capture your attention. But it's the profound sense of peace and devotion that truly makes this place special. As I entered the temple, I felt an overwhelming sense of tranquility and a deep connection with the divine. The chants and prayers resonated with my soul, filling me with a sense of gratitude and inner peace. The devotees and priests at the mandir are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making you feel like a part of their spiritual family. I was fortunate to witness the aarti, a beautiful and soul-stirring ritual that left me with a sense of inner harmony.

Visiting Ambaji Temple was truly a memorable experience for me and my family. We arrived at the temple via a state bus and entered through gate number 6. At the temple, we noticed there are two entrance options: one for VIPs and the other for regular visitors. Opting for the regular entrance, we had to wait in the morning as the temple opens at 10:30 AM, and there's a brief closure from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Additionally, the temple briefly closes again from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. It's worth noting that wearing belts inside the temple is not allowed. Despite the waiting and the rules, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ambaji Temple. The spiritual ambiance and the cultural significance of the temple made it a meaningful and enriching experience for our family.

A hidden spiritual gem in North Gujarat! The Ambaji Temple at Khedbrahma is a serene and sacred place dedicated to Goddess Amba, revered as a powerful form of Shakti. This temple, though less known than the famous Ambaji near the Rajasthan border, holds immense historical, cultural, and mythological significance.

Local legends say the temple was founded after a divine vision led a devotee to the very spot where a sacred light emerged from the earth. Many also believe this to be a “Gupt Shakti Peeth”, radiating strong spiritual energy.

The temple is located near the mythical Saraswati River, which is believed to have surfaced here due to the penance of an ancient sage. The calm surroundings and the river’s presence make the place truly peaceful and divine.

Don’t miss the nearby Sun Temple of Khedbrahma, where legend says a Solanki king was cured of illness after worshipping the Sun. Visiting both temples offers a beautiful spiritual balance of Shakti (Divine Mother) and Surya (Sun God) energies.

During Navratri, the temple comes alive with vibrant Garba, prayers, and a strong sense of devotion. Architecture is traditional and peaceful—perfect for reflection and worship.

Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine spiritual experience, cultural depth, and a break from crowded...
