In his very poetic speech and soothing voice, it was an experience of an opera for me listening and gathering information about Shree Santram Deri – Nadiad from His Holiness Satyadasji Maharaj. His Holiness Satyadasji Maharaj is in charge of Shree Santram Deri for more than 27 years with the Blessings & Motivation from His Holiness Shree Nayandasji Maharaj. His Holiness Satyadasji Maharaj starts by depicting the story and History of this place and Shree Santram Maharaj in a very beautiful way. In the beginning this was a very remote and a faraway place from any civilization when the farmers and other civilians noticed His Holiness Shree Santram Maharaj sitting in Samadhi in the hollow trunk of a tree. It is said that His Holiness Shree Santram Maharaj hardly uttered a word to the followers and was mostly in a Samadhi. Two friends “Jibama” & “Jiji Bhagat” visited daily from a nearby village called Piplag. They always wondered as to why they haven’t noticed His Holiness eat or drink and how would He be surviving? Both of them wished to be of some service to Him. One day “Jibama” insisted and somehow got a message to bring some Milk if he wishes to. While walking back home, “Jibama” seemed very sad and he was worried as his buffalo had stopped milking. Looking at the situation, “Jiji Bhagat” asked “Jibama” to have faith in His Holiness Shree Santram Maharaj and just give it a try. To the astonishment of both the friends, as “Jibama” just keeps a vessel under the feet of the buffalo, the milk Miraculously started sprouting into the vessel on its own and filled the vessel to the top. That was the first Miraculous experience that came to light and ever since then, thousands of people have experienced a miracle happening to them by the grace of His Holiness Shree Santram Maharaj. Believers also practice to offer the first milk of their cattle after having the cattle start milking after their prayers for help. His Holiness Satyadasji Maharaj also runs a “GAU-SHALA” (A Cattle Ranch or a Cow Ranch in English that raises and serve sick and helpless cattle) here at Shree Santram Deri with the blessings of His Holiness Shree Nayandasji Maharaj. His Holiness Satyadasji Maharaj has always shown great intention and id putting even greater efforts Grooming and building Rich Life Values in children, along with very meticulously designed and implemented a program called “Santram Sanskar Vartul” that works on the Character Building along with building and grooming Academic, Physical, Mental, Cultural. Festive and Spiritual attributes in them. His Holiness Satyadasji Maharaj is very popular about this virtue and his efforts amongst all, irrespective of cast, creed or religion. A Library free to use for all. Music classes :- Vocal, Tabla, Harmonium, and such other musical instruments. Inter-school Gaming events organized. A group of believers get together from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm and conduct “Kirtan” every day including Ram Raksha Stotra Paath, Vishnu Sahastra Naam, Dutt-Bawani & Hanuman Chalisa. This Historically and Religiously Important place is open to all from 05:00 am to 09:00 pm from Monday to Sunday. There is Free Parking available for Two-wheelers and Four-wheelers at all times.
