This beach is situated near Navsari & Surat. The beach usually caters to local people, including from Surat. There are not many activities on the beach. We could see camel ride only. There is only one resort, namely Modi Resort at the beach. As per local people, as the traffic at the beach is not large, there has not been any development of new hotels or resorts at the beach. There are no good hotels or restaurants at the beach. The beach has makeshift shops selling bhajia, corn, tea, coffee, packed snacks, coconut water, Maggie, drinking water bottles, etc. We particularly enjoyed bhajia, which were prepared fresh. A WORD OF CAUTION: Do not try to venture further into the sea, particularly during high tide as the beach has deep slope & the venture can be dangerous. There are no coast guards at the beach. I could also not find any warning signs. This place, as per the information available, has witnessed a few accidents. Locals always guide you about the details. I could not spot washrooms / restrooms at the beach. The beach remains dirty, particularly stewn with plastic bottles, plastic bags, pooja material like flowers, chuneri, coconut, etc. One can spend a few hours at the beach. The beach is closed after daylight as there are no lights at the beach. Due to the weather, winters would be a good time to visit the beach. One can also visit early morning or late evening to visit the beautiful sunset. Parking is available at the beach. Overall, it was a nice feeling which can be better if things are improved around the beach in terms of cleanliness,...
