Botanical Garden is a large (24-hectare) garden with 1,400 varieties of plants from all over India. The amateur nature lover can marvel at different varieties of bamboo like the Chinese Bamboo, Golden Bamboo, Beer Bottle Bamboo, etc. and enjoy strolling along the beautiful walkways each lined with different species of tree. Visitors can also pick up cactus plants and enjoy a picnic at the picnic spot in the garden. Permission is required to enter. Drinking water and toilet facilities are available.

It is our pleasure to mention that many research scholars from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda with equal support from the forest officials of WBG took this utmost essential initiative of conservation of Halund, given the fact that it is a highly nutritiously beneficial plant.

Where and how to reach? Waghai is a town in the Dang District of the southern part of Gujarat state in India. And also Taluka of dang district. I absolutely love this place. The moment you enter, you're greeted with an incredible variety of trees, shrubs, and plants—many of which are used in Ayurvedic medicine. It’s like walking into a living encyclopedia of natural healing. You’ll find everything from medicinal herbs to rare and ancient tree species, all thoughtfully labeled and beautifully maintained.
