Our large group of 20 had a fabulous time. The games and activities were all outdoors and well spaced out so we felt it was a great COVID activity, especially if you come with your own group with whom you are comfortable with. Our group consisted of kids as long as 7 up to late 50s and we all laughed, played and enjoyed the wide variety of games: zipline, cooperative games, obstacle course, shooting, net climbing, maze, etc.
We had several food allergies among our group and Gautam (general manager) was very helpful and ensured no cross contamination and alternative food options that would work. The food was all Indian and there was plenty to keep us full.
There were shaded areas around the property and the mist fans were a welcome relief as we sat and enjoyed our breaks/snacks and meals.
I also liked the theme of sustainability: saving the animals and protecting the environment (water was available to refill our reusable water bottles)
The only cons I saw were the following few other participants were wearing masks so definitely come if you have your own group so you can be exclusive and not have to feel unsafe playing with others (I wouldn't have minded interacting with others, but with COVID I would rather stick to my own familiar bubble) this was worrisome at the meal times but when I shared my concerns, Gautam allowed our group to reach the lunch buffet earlier than the planned meal time, so we wouldn't be interacting with the other unmasked people he also assured me that their staff would be enforcing their posted covid precautions in the future. Their staff all wore masks and kept distance, it was mostly other patrons who did not. there were lots of flies around the snack area...perhaps because it was just out in the open. Suggestion: add a few fans to keep the flies away.
Overall, I would highly recommend Rocksport for a day of family or friendly fun with your exclusive group of...
Read more⚠️ Terribly Disappointing Experience at Rocksport, Gurgaon. DON'T BELIEVE THEM. THEY ARE LIARS! ⚠️ We booked a birthday party for our 8-year-old daughter at Rocksport, Gurgaon, expecting a fantastic adventure-filled celebration. Unfortunately, our experience was an utter letdown and a complete contrast to what was promised.
Despite rescheduling the party to accommodate their unavailability on our daughter's birthday, Rocksport failed to honor their commitment. On the day of the event, we arrived to find multiple parties underway, leaving our kids waiting endlessly for activities as the best spots were already taken by earlier arrivals.
Despite assurances of adequate staff and numerous instructors for an adventure-filled day, we were gravely disappointed. With only one instructor for a group of 20 kids, they could manage merely three activities in the allotted time.
Their inflexibility with the menu was another major setback. After strenuous negotiations for changes, they served food that wasn't agreed upon, leaving us utterly frustrated.
Rocksport's lack of professionalism, unfulfilled promises, and disorganized management made our daughter's special day a complete disaster. We expected a memorable experience and got an exercise in frustration instead.
Our advice: Beware of false promises and poor management at Rocksport, Gurgaon. We strongly advise against considering them for any event or...
Read moreFood was bad, the instructor was rude and didn't allow us to stand (forced us to sit down on the muddy ground). She complained to our teacher that we 'weren't listening' (standing as to not soil our clothes). She blew her whistle into our ears from behind to make us sit. Later, she told us that since we 'troubled' her so much, we won't do any activities, and made us sit down and watch the other classes do activities. She wasted our time.. we waited in queue for activities for 2 HOURS! (in total out of the 4 hours we were there). We were supposed to reach there by 09:40 but due to the instructors being late, we reached by 11:45. They blamed us for the delay. Very bad place, they need to teach their staff some manners. (Trip details - Venkateshwar International School, Classes VII-IX. Instructor's name - Deepika) Summary:- Better to stay at home than to come here, it's so far away and small, plus you can't do much due to the...
