I recently visited Panchwati Mandir in Palwal, known for its historical link to the Pandavas’ exile. The temple is calm and has beautiful paintings illustrating scenes from their time here, which gives it a lovely spiritual ambiance .
What I liked:
The peaceful and slightly verdant surroundings make for a serene visit, especially during weekday mornings .
There are multiple deities inside—Shiva, Khatu Shyam Ji, Ganesh ji, Mata Tripura Sundari—which provides a diverse devotional experience in one place .
The temple grounds feel reasonably clean and well kept for a small-town shrine .
What could improve:
Facilities are quite basic: expect minimal or no seating/rest areas, limited signage inside, and a lack of refreshments or water stalls nearby.
On busiest days (like Tuesdays, Saturdays, or during local festivals), the crowd can feel unmanaged and a bit chaotic .
There’s no official website or formal information desk, so planning is a bit guessy and based on memory or word of mouth.
In summary: Panchwati Mandir is a spiritually significant and historically interesting site in Palwal with peaceful energy and vivid artistic touches. However, due to limited visitor amenities and occasional crowding, I’m giving it 3 out of 5 stars. Good for a short, sincere visit—but don’t expect full...

Read moreThose who want eternal peace shall certainly visit Panchwati Mandir. This is very old temple and is mentioned in Ramayana and Mahabharat as well. Nobody asks you to donate a single penny, whatever you contribute to the donation box you do with your own will. All the saints that I have met here are very humble and polite. I try to visit Panchwati Temple as frequently as possible for me. There you can find the statue of devi, placed by very honored Mata Draupadi during their Vanwas. Panchwati mandir houses a very tall statue of lord Shiva as well, which is also a big eye catcher for pilgrims. Do visit Panchwati Mandir at least thrice in your lifetime if you are not local to this place. If you live nearby then you are well versed. Jai Shri Ram! Om...
