The temple is situated around 12 Kms from Una on Nangal road. As per mythology, the temple was constructed by Pandavas during their exile period. There is a lake of around 500m circumference located next to the temple. Also, there is a primary school in the premises. Two Shivlings, one of Shiv and the other of Gauri (Parvati) are located in the temple.
