About Deepak Tal : It is about 50kms from Keylong along with Leh-Manali Highway(NH-21). A clear sunny day makes the site much more beautiful and heavenly looking. Water of the lake is crystal clear and cold as Ice.
I went there in the month of August, so the temperature was not as cold as it would be during winters. During winters, the lake is frozen.
Suggestion : The air is thin at the high altitudes and some may suffer breathlessness. So, the best thing is to avoid unnecessary physical activities. The obligatory duty is to keep the area clean and take the trash back with you, because there is no such concept of garage management at such isolated areas.
