I recently had the pleasure of visiting a museum-cum-photo gallery in Saulikhad while waiting for my vehicle passing. The gallery caught my eye, as I had heard about it before and have a keen interest in Himachal Pradesh's history and culture.

Upon entering, I was immediately drawn to the impressive collection of old cameras and artifacts. The exhibit provided a fascinating glimpse into the past, showcasing the rich heritage of photography and historical objects in the region.

Turning left, I discovered an incredible collection of old Himachal books. I spent about an hour engrossed in reading, thoroughly enjoying the rare literature available. However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that these valuable old books were for sale. I believe such important cultural literature should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford to purchase them. Despite this, I couldn't resist buying two books, one of which was by Miya Goverdhan.

After making my purchases and leaving a review in the visitor register, I climbed to the first floor. There, I found an extensive collection of photographs depicting various areas of Himachal Pradesh. The photos ranged from old to new periods, offering a comprehensive visual journey through time. One of the highlights was the display of a Chamba Rumal, adding a unique touch to the exhibit.

The most Memorable place for me , i had spent some good memories in my childhood here specially i have always remembered those moment of summer school vacations , those evenings nd mornings along with my father . But sadness is i cannot able to visit this place...
