The temple remain open from 6 am to 9 pm.Nearest airport is Bhuntar airport with 30 km. Nearest railway station is Pathankot with 120 km. Manikaran is connected by buses and private taxis to Kullu and other cities.

Jagannathi Temple is 9 Kms away from Kullu town. I went there riding a bicycle. The first six kms were fine but the last 3 kms were very steep and i had to rest every now and then. After One and a half hours of climbing I reached the end of the road near the stairs leading upto the temple. I parked my bicycle , climbed the steps and reached the temple. i was the only one in the temple. I took a close look at the architecture of the temple and the engraved wooden walls of the temple. It was a nice experience, i burnt a lot of calories as well as fulfilled my dream of visiting the temple. I think this how people should reach the temple ,either on foot or on a bicycle, because this is how you show your sincerity...
