Nako Village — Attraction in Himachal Pradesh

"NAKO" One of the most beautiful village of Spiti Valley. Situated at an altitude of 11893 ft. Above MSL with the backdrop of Mount Reo Purgyal which has an elevation of 6,816 metres (22,362 ft) and is the highest mountain in Himachal Pradesh.

Visited Nako Village on 17/05/2022 while on our way from Kalpa to Tabo. You can take a walk in and around the village, see the lake. You can also do some boating at lake or talk to the villagers, who are very helpful. There’s an old as well as new Monastery at Nako - so you can visit them too. I have been to Nako village, it was a great experience. Stayed at homestay and had good Ghar ka khana. In the morning I saw the Frozen Lake and it was amazing and very much stronger as I was not expecting this. We had fun on the lake and clicked pictures but we didn't stay for long because we have to leave for another destination on the same day. But it was a great...
