On 17th April 2024, I trekked from Club Mahindra Janjheli to Shikari Devi via Buddha Kedar with my local guide Mr Jogi. The 12.5 km trek was tough but exhilarating. We started at 7 am and reached the Shikari Devi temple at 1130 am. It is a very scenic route passing through forest and meadows. Take energy drinks, an umbrella or a stick and some snacks with you. A guide is a must.

Great place in snow covered mountains . Chill weather .. nice and reasonable food . I took 35-40 min. By car From club Mahindra janjehli to reach shikari mata temple gate and then 1001 stairs ( I guess) to temple . . It's like a fairyland .

A patch of rough road in between but easily manageable to drive . There are a few shops where you can buy eatables . A good space in parking ground then about 1000-1500 stairs climb till main temple .
