Read moreThis is an exclusive Wildlife Scantuary for ASIATIC ELEPHANTS. If you are a nature, wildlife and adventure lover, this place is a must visit. You can also find a good place to start a journey to discover yourself. One can get a scenic view of the whole town Jamshedpur as well as the NH33 highway and Patamda area from here. It is to be noted very well that if you are coming here then totally depend on yourself for fooding and hydration. Yeah one can get potable drinking water in Pindrabera as well as on the Hill Top. Somehow one can get bhog also, that too on the hill top temple. There is a well on the hill top.... Just imagine? Monkeys are sure to be taken care of. In my recent visit, I got to know that the elephants in winter season goes to nearby jungles of Bengal due to fooding concerns while in the summers they returned back to the Jungle for a colder environment and water. There is no then pitched roads here one can get concrete roads. Probably that is also broken in some places. Two wheelers can be taken up there easily but with a good riding skill. Four wheelers can be taken there too,but be sure about the Braking system and Fuel concerns. There is an option of lodging, If one wants to stay at night on the Hill Top. It is sure that one cannot get professional lodging services here. Yeah... One can visit DALMA WLS anytime they want to. Winters are awesome , Monsoon is a great time to discover wildlife , and Summers here is experienced very well.... Cool and calm. Significantly there are 3 routes to come Up via vehicle to the Hill Top. The most suitable route is from the main entrance from NH33. Another route is from the Tata Patamda Road,which is a bit sturdy with no concrete roads at all. Be sure not to mess with Wildlife here, especially the Monkeys! The most popular reason to visit this place is the Temples on the Hill Top. Pilgrims from various places on Mahashivratri crowd up the Hill Top making the whole place look like a Mela. And yes this is a great place for trekking. Pilgrims often opt to trek to the Hill Top offering serious dedication towards The God. I personally feel awesome here. I have been here probably 5 times, all by road. Two times on Motor Bike and the other two time on My Cycle. Yeah......, Cycling is much tougher here!, but one would enjoy it very much because of his presence amid the silent forest with the sounds of Birds, flowing water streams, and the warm Sunshine in some places. There are many places to observe wildlife here, if you want. And..., there is A Police Camp on the hill top for local concers, and criminal offences.
