This temple in ramgarh, hazaribagh is considered a holy & divine place to the Hindus all over India.main temple is a colourful structure.vairabhi river is passing by the temple ..but crowd maintance is very poor inside the temple. people r pussing one another & create nuisance inside the main temple, difficult to visit with elderly & kids ...goats are carried for sacrifice & no different entrance for men & goats... people have to stand in ques for long but can't offer puja peacefully ..but as it is one of the saktipeeth among 51 in India it is considered very sacred place. It is said to be over 6000 years old and still attracts thousands of visitors every day. A site of both religious and historical importance, this temple attracts pilgrims and devotees from all over India and abroad. There are also several Hindu festivals celebrated at the temple. The deity to whom the temple is dedicated, Maa Chinmastikey, one of the Mahavidya Goddesses, is highly revered in Hindu culture, especially in North India. She is most often depicted as being severed by the head, holding her decapitated head in her hand; and the blood spurting out of her neck being drunk by her head and two attendants. This ferocious and gory image symbolizes what she stands for— a life-giver as well as a life taker. She represents life as well as death, at the same time. She also represents sexual self-control, the frailty of life itself as well as several topics that would be easily considered taboo in modern culture. She is known for herself sacrificing nature, and her destructive fury, as is expected of a goddess of the Shakti. Prayer to this Hindu goddess is believed to protect the worshipper from “instance of misfortune, difficulty and misguided mind”. Apart from the religious significance, the Rajrappa Mandir is also a place for vehicle poojas, marriages and any number of ritualistic traditions that require the blessing of the goddess. In Hindu culture, it is a practice for children to be shaved bald before the age of two; this practice is called the mundan and most families choose to do their children’s mundan at a temple. The Rajrappa Mandir happens to be an important site for the mundan, with hundreds of young children getting their heads shaved in this temple. Everyone should visit this temple ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

The Chhinnamasta Temple in Rajrappa is a captivating testament to Tantrik architecture, renowned for its unique spiritual aura and intricate design. At its heart lies the striking image of Goddess Chhinnamasta, depicted as a headless deity standing on Kamdeo and Rati amidst a lotus bed. This central figure exemplifies the temple's spiritual essence and attracts devotees seeking profound spiritual experiences. Apart from the main shrine dedicated to Maa Chhinnamasta, the temple complex boasts ten additional sanctuaries venerating various deities like Surya, Hanuman, and Lord Shiva. Each temple radiates its own divine energy, enriching the spiritual journey of visitors. The temple welcomes pilgrims and visitors daily from early morning till late evening, accommodating both the devotionally inclined and those curious about its historical and religious significance. During festivals such as Maha Shivaratri, Navratri, and Makar Sankranti, the temple becomes a focal point of vibrant celebrations and religious fervor. Entry to the temple is free, offering everyone the opportunity to experience its sacred ambiance without any barriers. While VIP entry and live darshan options are not available, the simplicity and authenticity of the temple's offerings remain deeply appealing. In essence, the Chhinnamasta Temple in Rajrappa stands as a spiritual beacon, blending tradition with architectural splendor, making it a must-visit for seekers of divine blessings and cultural exploration alike.

With blessings of Maa Chinnamasta, I visited here on 11th Feb, 2023. It is a divine place. As soon as you entre the temple, you see a divine form of maa. Its slightly dark inside and you may struggle to clearly see Maa's murti (idol). One can clearly see at least one stream of blood flowing inscription on the idol of Maa. There will be one or two priests in temple who will help you in prayer. After divine darshan, you need to break the nariyal (coconut) near a shivaling and put the water on shivaling.... After that you visi the adjacent temple where there is a huge Shivalinga, which fascinates all.... What I believe is that this might have been used for Tantrik sadhna in ancient times or earlier. But now I dont think its used for those practices. After this, there are several temples in the Temple complex which you should visit, especially temples of MahaVidyas which have their own power and divinity... There is a beautiful river flowing near the temple complex which you can enjoy a boat ride which costs Rs. 50 per head and its nice.... People get goats inside temple since Bali (sacrifice) is an important part of Maa Chinnamasta Sadhna..... and there is a place in temple where Bali is done... just fold your hands, pray and enjoy the divinity of this divine place.... Om Hum Chinnamastayayyi Namah 🙏🙏

Devotional place but need to work on cleanness and need to be honest to Pujaris and also shop keepers. Old temple is much beutiful and surrounding are also good but it lost it's Glory as few people visit those temple so no body take care to these temple! I personally feel more comfortable and devotional on these old temple, Peaceful and feel good place. But as I said earlier too that these temples should be take care well and surrounding area should be cleaned and should be developed as a park with water fountain and flowers. As this place is also to Sangam of two Rivers it can be developed as tourist place and people from other states and country will love to visit this place. Boating facility is also available here but I didn't tried boating in my 4 visits to temple! Peaceful and feel good place. But as I said earlier too that these temples should be take care well and surrounding area should be cleaned and should be developed as a park with water fountain and flowers. As this place is also to Sangam of two Rivers it can be developed as tourist place and people from other states and country will love to visit this place. Government should take some steps and develop this place!

What a nice place! Very Holi place and offcourse natural beauty. Chhinnamasta temple,Damodar and Bhairavi River,Rajrappa falls, road journy between Rajrappa More & Temple superb! ( all information available in wikipidia) I just tell some little information - Parking, well Toitels ( Separate for M & F ), Hotels for Food ( Maybe for rest ), drinking water avilable. If you visit for Puja then you prepare for very long hours weting and penance.( I saw pilgrims are weting but not any Systematic line, Temple authority does not help you, so don't lose your temper, always carry water, Umbrella, if required). I recommended if you visit with your family or with female members plz vist by personal car or booked car (Bus, Auto etc.) But does not means running auto, buses etc not avilable but heavy rush in special puja time. (And one more thing i very disappointed of exit point. I saw narrow road are blooded and you exit on the blood.) ( Yes, I agree all for Puja purpose but I saw very old ladies are very scared, my request to Temple Authority please arange a separate exit point where bloods are not flows). Jay Maa Kali..🙏 please visit here once in life...

The most famous devi Chinnamasta temple of india. It is probably the only temple where presiding diety is Chinnamasta, though Chinnamasta is present as subsidiary diety in many temples of India. The main temple has small garbhagiha. People are allowed to go inside. The Chinnamasta and her 2 escort Devi are sculpted on a small black stone panel. There is further grill around it so one has to see carefully to understand the idol. Pandit do puja after snakalp on your behalf. Coconut, red cloth, flowers, sindoor, agarbatti, sweets are the major offering. Floor might be slippery as wet pilgrim after taking bath enter the premises. There is a shiv temple which has huge shivling. The purnima, amavas, Tuesday and Saturday are main visiting days. Its a very renowned and powerful temple considered as shaktipeeth by many. It is also place of tantric Sadhna.
