Excellent place, a proper Road connectivity can make it 5 star rated. You have to pass the car through congested & broken roads. A 4 wheeler can easily be drove down to the point & ample parking space available. Google Map can be trusted to reach the point. This hidden & beautiful place in lap of nature.

Take care before entering into the water as rocks are slippery under water.

Twenty kilometers from the hubbub of Jamshedpur, lies Paharbhanga in the lap of nature. A running rivulet chuckling along a route by the foot of blue hills and a carpet of undisturbed, green fields entice steel city denizens and others from bordering states and neighboring areas to break free from the strains of daily living and spending one day with family, relatives and friends amidst this canvas of nature. Paharbhanga is steadily but surely gaining in popularity as a picnic spot.

The route to Paharbhanga from Jamshedpur is not at all confounding. Paharbhanga is close to Lovadih Tola in Damudih village under Shankarda Panchayat. To reach this romantic picnic spot one has to travel from Jamshedpur city via Sundernagar to Bandungri (15 km) then onto Patharchakri (1 km). from here, the road turns right to Chand-Bhairav Chowk in Damudih (2km) and then a further 1.5 km to Damudih village where lies the poetic beauty of Paharbhanga. Good for family but try coming In Group for sense...

There are four reasons why this (by now) well known picnic spot doesn't get five stars and none of that is about the site itself. It is without doubt a scenic spot.

The first problem is that the last stretch of the route is like a Himalayan car rally with more rocks and potholes than road. The second is the very large and extremely noisy crowd on Sundays and holidays in winter (several sets of loudspeakers create simultaneous noise pollution). The third is that the locals seem to have made it a livelihood to hive off some cash from each visiting vehicle. The fourth and last is the unsightly litter which the crowds leave behind.

In fact I could get these two pictures of the actual scenery with great difficulty due to the milling crowds. Any visitors would therefore do well not to come here on a Sunday or...

If you're in Jamshedpur,a great place to visit is just a 15-20 minute drive away, offering beautiful mountain views and a serene river. To reach this spot, you'll pass through charming villages, providing a fantastic experience. Along the way, you'll encounter lovely domestic animals like roosters and small cows. Be cautious not to accidentally harm any animals, as there might be consequences. This location is ideal for picnics, camping, and photo shoots.

Remember safety: wear sturdy, non-slip shoes for good grip on the stones, and keep an eye on children. Transportation:- approachable with bike, and 4 wheelers, Road:- newly constructed road available to the location. The best view:- Cloud and mountain kisses 😘 Don’t think more bring your family...
