Sido-Kanhu Murmu Park — Attraction in Jharkhand

Park is one of those hidden gems that instantly makes you feel at home. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, it’s the kind of place where you can unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature without having to travel far.

What struck me first was the park's peaceful atmosphere. The tall maple trees lining the walking paths give the whole area a golden glow, especially in the late afternoon. There’s a charming little pond at the heart of the park where ducks gather and kids toss breadcrumbs with joy. A small wooden bridge crosses over it—perfect for photos or just standing and watching the ripples in the water.

Families were enjoying picnics on the grassy lawn while others lounged in hammocks or read books under the trees. The playground is well-equipped and safe, and there’s even a splash pad for hot summer days. I also appreciated the presence of a small community garden, tended by local volunteers, bursting with flowers and vegetables.

The ticket for this Sido Kanhu Murmu Park is just 15 per person but the amusement it provide to us is beyond the price. Its the only Amusement which give both children and the youth a fruithful time to chill out and feel restless here. The children's attractions are the Marvel's superheroes Statue, see-saw, jhula, slider, toy train, and many more.. And for the youths there a section of gym workout tools arranged. Unfortunately the fountain has not yet been started but yes.. The day it will start it will definitely attracts more no. Of of children's to this park. Condition of park is below average. There is no maintenance. It's don't seems there is a caretaker. Most of the equipments are not in good condition, equipments are rusted, broken and not safe to use it. You see the condition in photos uploaded by me. If you want just to sit and relax then you can visit, But don't visit there with children as the most of the equipments there are dangerous for them.
