Sona Pahari — Attraction in Jharkhand

This Sona pahari temple is highly from groud and main located in a small hill First of all, you have to climb 130 steps to climb the Sona Pahari temple and you will see Maa Kali Maa before reaching the temple. From here you can enjoy the view and there is a washroom in the right side of the temple which no one cares and behind the Hanuman temple on the side.drinking water tap There is a drinking water tap, if you get tired of climbing the stairs, then you will not be able to get the fresh air in the round platform to sit and in the foot of the hill.And now the inaugural name of the statue of revolution heroes of our Jharkhand This is devotional place lots of place stricktly orohibted photography.... But This temple is accompanied by a story or a secret that can be told that you cannot take anything home from here, even if it is not a prasad.

Nice place but too long distance for me to have a visit and return back to home... But when you go there you will not belive your own eyes...it's really impressive that people are offering money to God whatever they had...it will surely shows the actual power of the God... After 12pm noon, you will be free to have darshan and at that time you can talk to pandit about your personal worries by which he will guide you the way... But common to all only varies the number of Tuesday worships for some it's 11 and for some 31....it's depend. Every Tuesday don't have salt and have sweet some, do puja on the God by 5nos agarbatti by 7times showing...

विष्णुगढ़ : हजारीबाग और गिरिडीह जिले के सीमावर्ती प्रखंड बगोदर के बेकों स्थित सोना पहरी के द्वार सैनी बाबा एवं द्वार सैनी माता का मंदिर श्रद्धालुओं के लिए आस्था एवं विश्वास का केंद्र बना हुआ है। जमीन की सतह से 426 फीट ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित मंदिर तक जाने के लिए 126 सीढि़यां चढ़नी पड़ती हैं।

बताते हैं कि मंदिर के प्रति श्रद्धालुओं की अटूट आस्था कायम है। सोना पहरी में द्वार सैनी बाबा एवं माता की ¨पडी के अलावा मंदिर में देवी-देवताओं की मूर्तियां भी स्थापित हैं। मांगने पर हर मनौती पूरी होने का विश्वास श्रद्धालुओं को है। यही वजह है कि सोना पहरी पूजा करने आने वाले श्रद्धालु सिर्फ स्थानीय एवं आसपास के क्षेत्र के ही नहीं होते हैं। यहां पूजा-अर्चना करने आने वाले श्रद्धालु झारखंड के अलावा पश्चिम बंगाल, बिहार व यूपी समेत विभिन्न राज्यों के होते हैं। यहां मंदिर में नारियल चढ़ाने के अलावा बकरे की बलि देने की प्रथा है पर पूजा-अर्चना करने के बाद प्रसाद एवं बलि देने के बाद बकरे को घर लाने की मनाही है। उसे सोना पहरी के क्षेत्र में ही बनाकर खाने की प्रथा आज भी प्रचलित है। हर रोज यहां पूजा-अर्चना करने आने वालों की तादाद हजारों में होती है।

बताते हैं यहां पूजा की शुरुआत क्षेत्र के राजा के विश्वासपात्र प्रधान अनुयाई दयाल चौधरी ने 17वीं शताब्दी में की थी। बताते हैं कि राजा के खासमखास समझे जाने वाले दयाल चौधरी की मौत उनके छह भाइयों के साथ सीमावर्ती राजा से लोहा लेते तब हो गई थी। अपने पराक्रम एवं शौर्य के लिए असाधारण व्यक्ति के धनी दयाल चौधरी एवं उनके छह भाइयों की अंतिम यात्रा सोना पहरी से शुरू होकर सुंदरू टांड स्थित नदी के तट पर पहुंच कर समाप्त हुई थी। कहा जाता है यहां उन सभी की पत्नियां भी पति के वीरगति प्राप्त होने की खबर पाकर सती हो गई थीं। यह जगह आज की तारीख में सती दह के नाम जाने जाती है। अनुकरणीय कार्य करने वाले वीर पुरुषों की कृति की पूजा करने की परम्परा युगों से कायम है। यही वजह है कि दयाल चौधरी की शुरू की गई पूजा आज भी की जा रही है। द्वार सौनी बाबा एवं द्वारा सैनी माता के नाम की पूजा करने वालों का तांता लगा रहता...
