A Lovely Serene Cute Beach Hiding by the Cliff!! One of the rarest and unheard of beaches in South Goa. It rests on a cliff surrounded by greenery and serenity. It takes about 20 mins to reach (from the main road) and you can drive your car up to the cliff from where there is a little trek down the clidd We, however, wanted to walk till the cliff through the Cashew Plantations! This is the cleanest beach in goa I have been to and the view is just breathtaking. If you're a group or family or couple, if you like to take a dip after a trek, this is the place to be. There are very few shacks which isn't the highlight. I would recommend this to the couples for the privacy it offers for you to enjoy the rocky sandy greenery-filled beach of Kakolem. It is also not commercialized, So, the sands and water is really very clean. My wife & I were so excited to reach here while the locals weren't able to guide, we spend more than we planned here. I would advise to trek up before sunset, because 1. It is safer to trek up without insects 2. The view from the top is lovely

Kakolem Beach, situated between Cabo de Rama and Cola Beach, is a serene and tranquil option amidst its bustling neighboring beaches. To reach Kakolem Beach from Cabo de Rama, follow the path indicated by a small board on the right that reads "Palm Discoveries." An entry fee of 50rs per person is typically charged due to it being claimed as private property. After a 200-300m drive, you will need to park your vehicle. While some prefer to park their 4-wheelers at the parking point, I chose to walk for the initial 5 minutes. From there, it takes approximately 5-7 minutes to trek down to the beach, which is easily manageable. Along the way, take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking view from the elevated vantage point. At the beach, you'll find a small shack where you can relax. With fewer crowds and a picturesque ambiance, Kakolem Beach is a great choice for those seeking a peaceful and less crowded alternative to the more popular beaches.

A small, ravishing, stunning and serene beach. It is not touched by many people which makes it secluded. You need to trek down from the NH-66 to reach the beach. The path is bit dusty and uneven. The stairs are broken, you need to be careful while using them. But the path to the beach provides many amazing views. There is only one shack at the beach. I would advise you to carry food and water with you. For the first time in Goa, I could not spot a lifeguard at the beach and the entering water for swimming is really risky as the currents are really high. If you enter, you need to do at your risk. There is also a thin stream flowing out the rocks which looks like a waterfall. The sunset is arresting. You must reconsider if you think of staying at the beach after sunset. You could also travel to the beach by hiring a motor boat. A must visit if you are in South Goa.

One of the most secluded and beautiful beaches of Goa, Kakolem Beach, also called Tiger Beach, is a nature’s treat with its majestic cliffs and the rich vegetation. Located around 7km away from Cabo De Rama beach in South Goa, it is a beach hidden between tall cliffs and shaded coconut trees.

Being hidden from the public view, the way to Kakolem beach is quite tricky. You will have to climb down a small cliff near the Vagon bus stop to reach here, which falls on the way to Betul Beach from Canacona. The unruly wilderness, the quiet and the mystical surroundings are a major lure for all who are looking for a unique and a serene beach vacay.

This beach is mostly deserted except for one resort on top of the cliff. Thus, it is dangerous to swim here due to the lack of supervision or rescue service. Should you choose to jump in nonetheless, don't go in too far and watch out for the drops. There are steep steps across the side of the cliff where one may descend to the water. There are no restaurants or shacks here, and there is just the one resort called Palm Discoveries where travellers may stay and dine at this...

Kakolem Beach is a knee-high to a duck beach, which has spread its expanse in a Bay. The Beach is located 7 km to south from Cabo de Rama resort. This is one of the most isolated and truly wild beaches in whole Goa. It is also called Tiger Beach. Some people even claim that Kakolem is a secret place to hunt tigers, though in reality no one can say that they have ever really seen here this amazing King of Indian jungle. The breathtakingly beautiful, fantastical view opens eyes of everyone who is coming here for quite cozy rest from the nearby hill. From the rock, which is placed right in the Beach, a cool stream flows. Its sprays are showered down through slope to the shore before falling into the sea. Pure and soft sand is crossed with large sharp stones, with which here and there the bottom of the sea is sheltered too. It is also a little bit dangerous to swim in here due to possible strong underwater currents, besides there is no Rescue...
